Ira Newman,
D.D.S. Long
Island Dentist.
Ira
Newman is a
graduate of SUNY Binghamton (1983 B.A.) and Emory
University (1988 D.D.S.). Dr. Newman completed his Post-Graduate
Residency at New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center, and has
been a member of the teaching faculty at the New York
University College of Dentistry - Department of Prosthodontics.
Dr.
Newman has studied at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced
Dental Study and the Seattle
Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Here he completed a full course on mastering occlusion and temporal
mandibular disorders (TMJ dysfunction).
Dr.
Newman is also awarded privileges at North Shore University Hospital
and is on the attending staff. He has published articles and
lectured both in the United States and abroad on dental
topics.
Dr.
Newman has appeared on the Today Show, CBS
Evening News, MSNBC, and New York One
News speaking on modern dental technologies and
procedures.

Gary Schatzberg,
Gary Schatzberg graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in 1983 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA). He received his DMD from Boston University’s School of Graduate Dentistry in 1988, and completed a General Practice Internship Program at Columbia’s St. Lukes- Roosevelt Hospital Center in 1989-90. Dr. Schatzberg has had a family practice in NewYork City for many years. Nevertheless, he’s excited to join Roslyn Dental Arts , where he is eager to utilize the most advanced dental technology as well as be closer to his family. Dr. Schatzberg is also an accomplished artist who has exhibited his work over the years in NYC galleries, and continues to paint as a hobby.
